Domino Rhyme

Type:

Structure, Rhyme Scheme Requirement, Stanzaic

Description:

Written in quatrains, there is no rhyme within the quatrain but it carries on to the next stanza, much as repetition is used in the pantoum. The pattern is that line two of one stanza lines with line one of the next and line three rhymes with line four of the next stanza. The last verse ties back to the first in this rhyme pattern.
