Think about a painting, sculpture or other art.

Get inspired by art. This may be a painting, sculpture, building, song, poem, or novel. Any of these can be inspiration to engender a new poem. Cross-fertilization of the arts is quite common with movies being inspired by poetry or songs by paintings. The Greeks had a wonderful term for this: ekphrastic.
