Write something descriptive about where you are.

Did you ever have this assignment in a creative writing class? Usually, if you are in a typical college, the rooms are less than inspiring. In this case, you have freedom to roam. You don't have to write about the classroom, because you aren't necessarily in one. Wherever you go, keep your poet's eye open. Watch for sunsets, soaring vistas, beauty in every form or write about the grime, the crime, and the graffiti if that's where you are. Write what you know and see. Make people see it through your eyes.
