Admittedly, many of these poems and songs are nostalgic, and somewhat negative toward the changes. Many are written about something loved that is going or gone. Sometimes it's a store or a way of life. Two examples are Stan Rogers' "Make & Break Harbor" and Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers' "Where Fishermen Used to Be."
