Pay attention to life.

“Be aware, in your daily tumbling down the up-escalator of life, of those emotional times that make your pulse quicken, even ever so slightly. Anger at shoelaces, lust at the checkout, horror at the six o’clock news, these all represent potential writing ideas. Passion, negative or positive, is a great fuel for writing.” -- Peter Berryman

After Peter has said it, what more needs to be said? Inspiration is all around us, tugging at our hemlines and waiting to be noticed. Don’t be oblivious to it.
