Work after you want to quit.

“Work after you want to quit; that’s when good stuff happens.” -- Peter Berryman

The brain is a very strange machine. Sometimes it seems to just get revved up when your body says you should be in bed. Sometimes, when you’re ready to give up trying to write as a bad job that day, that’s when the creative part of the brain really kicks in. Maybe it’s because you are trying too hard to force creativity? Maybe there is another reason out there? But sometimes you need to just give up on trying to write and just write.
