Break it up! Space is the Poet’s Best Friend.

A poem can seem quite formidable if it is over about ten lines in one stanza. Try breaking it into multiple stanzas. The spacing cuts it into digestible chunks. Long line lengths are similarly fearsome. Consider breaking it into hemistiches.
