Find someone more knowledgeable about poetry or songwriting or art and ask if they’ll show the way. One good place to find experienced people is on Internet discussion boards. Of course, that’s also a good place to find idiots, but don’t let that discourage you. If you’re an idiot magnet, they’ll find you no matter how well you hide.
