Going to workshops on writing or poetry will serve four purposes:

1. You might learn something new at the workshop.
2. You will meet other writers. They might become good friends to share your poetry and other writing with and your writing experiences.
3. The people you meet also might be potential collaborators.
4. They might also know more than the people running the workshop. You might be able to learn from them.
