Have a back up version of your poetry.

Once you have written a poem, you don’t want to lose it accidentally. Losing it on purpose is covered in the Cremation section. Here are some suggested ways of storing copies of your poems and songs.

  • Word-processing program document
  • Electronic database
  • HTML locally on your computer
  • HTML on a Website
  • Burned to a CD
  • On a floppy disk
  • On paper in a binder
  • On a poetry bulletin board
  • Off-site storage
If you share them with your friends, whether it’s via paper or computer, someone’s bound to have a copy. At least, in theory.
