Write a hymn or spiritual poem. It doesn’t have to be in any particular tradition, or it can even mix traditions. Bryan Bowers wrote a song in the gospel quartet tradition called “Zen Gospel Singing”. This gets back to Steve Gillette’s tip about knowing your personal philosophy.
