Description: 

English comedic five line form. Rhyme scheme aabba. Lines 1, 2, and 5 have three stresses and lines 3 and 4 have two. The meter is effectually anapestic or amphibrachic. In other words, its got nine syllables to the long lines and six to the short ones, although it is not uncommon to leave a syllable out. Occasionally, someone will end a line with an extra feminine syllable.
